Zed Run the latest trendy game is a digital horse racing built on blockchain. Users can pay upto $15 to enter races and can win the prize in cryptocurrency. The horses played in the game are Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT). The cryptocurrency used in this this game is Ethereum (ETH).

HISTORY
Zed Run was founded by Chris Laurent, Rob Salha, Geoff Wellman, and Chris Ebeling in 2018. It was developed by an Australia-based Virtually human studio. Virtual Human Studio is a NFT project studio. The company had doubts on how the game will look but it turned out as a great game. The company sold 4,400+ digital horses in 2019 with an average price of $30. The game turned out be one of the best game in crypto-powered gaming. Overall Zed Run horses have sold for a total of 16,700 Ethereum about $43 million. Virtual Human Studio announced in july 2021 that they had raised over $20 M+ USD in funding from Series A.

RACES

When races take place they are streamed on both the company's website and Zed Run's twitch channel. The company also operated a discord server where users can follow race results,trade tips etc. One venture capitalist in New York, Yair Altmark, 23, has spent at least $300,000 on digital horses.

PARTNERSHIP

Companies like Atari has partnered with Zed Run. Real-world business Atari has signed on to help develop Ebeling’s vision, offering its IP for a series of in-game activations, such as themed horses and tracks. Zed Run is also recieving fundings as mentioned before.
